Dr. Tiffany M. Darby (Owner)

Dr. Darby has over 19 years of mental health services experience. She earned her Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from Kent State University. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisor Designation and a Licensed School Counselor in the State of Ohio. Throughout her professional career, Dr. Darby has worked in a variety of settings including, partial-hospitalization, residential, college counseling, outpatient, school and community based. She has worked mostly with diverse youth who display behavior concerns, families and couples. Dr. Darby is an active member of the American Counseling Association. She has presented on a variety of topics at several conferences nationwide. Dr. Darby has been a college professor since 2015. She is currently an Associate Professor and Interim Director of Doctoral Field Experiences at the University of the Cumberlands.

Melissa Parsons, LPCC 

Ms. Parsons received her bachelor’s degree in sociology and master’s degree in community counseling from Cleveland State University. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in outpatient and inpatient settings. She has training in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing. Her areas of special interest include treatment for substance use disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety and panic disorder, depression, low self-esteem, behavioral issues, interpersonal and relationship issues using EMDR, CBT, mindfulness, and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) techniques.

She is available on a flexible schedule including evenings Mondays/Thursdays 5p-7p; Fridays 2p-5p, Saturdays 9a-1p, other times can be arranged after first session. 

Jocelyn Boyd, MSSA, LSW

Ms. Boyd has 12 years of experience in the social services field. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Thiel College majoring in psychology and acquired her master’s degree from Case Western Reserve in social science administration. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, and a participant in several social work organizations locally. Ms. Boyd’s experience in the social services field includes child protection and therapy, adult mental health treatment, and providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities. She is invested in the overall health of her patients. She uses a range of techniques when providing therapy, including practices based on dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavior therapy (CBT).

Her availability is evenings from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm daily, and her schedule is flexible.

Latisa Hamilton , LPC-Intern

Ms. Hamilton is a senior at Grand Canyon University where she is completing her Masters of Science in Professional Counseling. In such a broad profession Latisa has learned the importance of applying classic techniques to modern day counseling. Being knowledgeable of different therapeutic approaches she often incorporate Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy into most of her sessions. Having over 10 years of experience in mental health as an Intensive Case Manager, Recovery Coach and Assessment Worker working with various ages. Supporting people with substance abuse, medical/ mental health disorders, homelessness, residential, reintegration, inpatient/ outpatient counseling, trauma and crisis intervention. Completing her Internship with Dr. Tiffany Darby with the goal of receiving her LPC in March 2021.  

Gabrielle Lyles, LPC

Ms. Gabrielle Lyles is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 5 years of experience working in the mental health field, including holding the title of Community Mental Health Worker, Case Manager, and Patient Advocate. Ms. Lyles earned a Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wright State University. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and groups in outpatient and inpatient settings. She is currently a member of the American Counseling Association. In her spare time she believes in serving her community in different civil rights efforts and service projects. Ms. Lyles believes in taking a holistic and existentialist approach to therapy. She is well versed in Cognitive-Behavioral, Gestalt, Person-Centered, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapies. She can also incorporate DBT, Rational-Emotive, Guided Self-Help, and Interpersonal Therapy techniques as well.  Ms. Lyles is available on a fluctuating schedule. We can find a time that best fits your schedule after initial assessment.
